| Just Beyond Twilight... ~~~
After the Cullen's moved to Alaska, they also took Bella. Stress from her being chased by the female vampire and the new werewolf problems forced them to leave. Silas and his family (Father, mother, brother) Moved in to the Cullen's own house knowing the family left, but not knowing of there werewolf problem until bit later on. Silas goes to school like his showing age should do, and he and his family try to start a life there.
Jaden was born and raised in Austin, Texas; the capital of the lone star state. His family was going just right until his father died of lung cancer. Apparently his father had been smoking behind his and his mother's back. Without enough money to sustain them in Austin, his mother made them move to a dreary little town in Washington, called Forks. They moved in with his grandfather, a fireman way past retirement, and settled in. His grandfather enrolled him into the local high school, where all the teenagers of Forks went.

| As soon as his alarm went off with a loud beeping noise, Jaden jumped in his bed, his eyes shooting open. His hand jolted out to the back of the clock to shut off the startling noise. Once the noise was gone, he sighed, letting his heart settle as he turned down the volume on it. He blinked then, looking over at the window. It was dark outside, far contrary to the central Texas weather that he was so used to. He was sure that it would rain at some point in the day.
Jaden groaned slightly, remember that it was the first day of his living hell in the small town. He was surprised that he hadn't gone crazy from the silence. Swinging his legs over the side of his bed, Jaden stood up and went over to his new dresser, filled with all new clothing that he'd bought specifically for living in Forks. Most of the things he'd had in Austin were either thrown out or stored away in the attic. After finding a dark purple turtleneck and a pair of black pants, Jaden stripped off his pajamas and pulled on the turtleneck and pants. He reached into one of the drawers and took out a pair of black socks before slipping them on. On his way out of his room, he grabbed his black shoes.
As he went down the stairs, Jaden was met by his mother, still in her robe, also going down. She gave him a weak smile before passing him to go down to the kitchen. Jaden silently followed her into the kitchen, where his grandfather was making pancakes for them.
"Good morning," the old man said, turning his head at the sound of their footsteps. Jaden grinned at his grandfather and said, "Mornin', sir." His grandfather glanced at him for a moment in slight disgust of Jaden's tattoo, before he nodded, smiling a little. "Go and sit down," he said. "Breakfast should be done soon." Jaden didn't give any reply as he went and sat down at the table.
Jaden looked over at his mother as she sat down. Her untidy, silver hair fell in front of her face as she looked down at her hands on the table, folding them together. Jaden could see the dark circles under her eyes. She looked up then, feeling his gaze on her. Just as she began to move, though, Jaden looked down at the salt and pepper. "Honey," her soft, velvet voice said to him. He looked up. "I'm going to give you my car. The place I found to work is only two blocks away. Here's the key." She opened her hands and offered the piece of metal. Jaden nodded, reaching out and taking the key.
Breakfast passed without much conversation. The loudest thing in the room was the wet chomping of his grandfather. When it was over, Jaden was happy to grab his bag and leave the house. The car in the driveway was a small, old vehicle. It was good enough to get them from Texas to Washington, but he was sure it was on its last line. He climbed into the grey car and started it up, taking a few tries before it actually roared to life. He backed out and headed down the street.
Finding the Forks high school wasn't hard, but figuring out where to park certainly was. He waited for someone else to show up before he pulled in after them and parked a good distance from them. He got out of the car then and locked the doors, not trusting these small-town folk.
Jaden looked around for a moment and quickly found the front office. He walked there and went in. At the front desk, he was greeted by a woman in her thirties. "Hello. I'm Jaden Wright," he said, looking down at her. The woman blinked and then said, "Oh. It's nice to have you. I was told you'd be coming this morning. Just a moment." She shuffled around through a few papers and then handed him three. "This is your schedule and a map. Get all of your teachers to sign the third paper. Then bring this back at the end of the day," she said. "Thank you very much," Jaden said, nodding his head before going back outside.
Jaden looked at the class he had first period: Biology. He scratched his head as he looked around. First building, Room 30. he thought, easily finding the first building with a big number one over the doorway. There was still awhile before school started. |

| Red eyes stared up out of a second story window, just like always the clouds were over cast hiding all of the sun. Most people would become depressed in this sort of weather, but for Silas and his ‘family’ it was perfect. The sun would give away their secret if it sown brightly, as it was now they could go out whenever they wanted without glowing like glass. Silas stared out the window for a while before a call from his father had him yelling he would be fine to drive himself. Really you would think after so long the man would think he was able to drive on his own. Listening to the house he heard both his sister and brother moving about, they were both ‘older’ then him and so there school was in different area’s as well as different times.
Finally having enough of lazing around the house Silas stood and stretched before he gracefully walked out of his room and down the stairs, he ignored his brother as he spoke about acting more normal this year, instead he made his slow way out of the house and to his car. He had some sort of Porsche GT thing, whatever it was he loved the color. It was such a dark red that it might as well have been black, and its inside was black velvet. If he had to be forced to drive these things it might as well be something that looked neat and felt cool. He pulled a set of keys from the pockets of a normal pair of black jeans, before clicking a small button that caused the car to flash and make a merry little bell sound.
He didn’t, like all other vampires there was no need for such a thing, so he was awake far early in the morning and slipped on his clothes. Ok, so you couldn’t even call it awake. He wore a baggy dark blue T-shirt with cat scratch holes running here and there; he also wore tight fitting black jeans that had similar scratches in places. Everyone asked where he got them; he couldn’t tell them he made the scratches himself. When you have so much time in the world, you do some very interesting things. Hit shoes were black boots, a few silver buckles going up the sides that just stopped short of his knees and were on the outside of his pants. All in all he looked like he got in a fight, and his pale skin stood out even more with the dark colored clothing.
The drive to school always took awhile, since he and his family took the house of a vampire family that once lived there. They were only months new to the town, but everyone already knew them, including some old man who seemed to be watching Silas like he was a dog that could bite any second. Lazily he flipped on the radio and the sound of some new band filled the small space of the car, by the time the third song had ended he was pulling into the school parking lot, taking notice most teachers were already in by then and a few students it seemed were making the most of the early mornings to study. Not that there was many of them to start with, but there was enough that someone could easily get a headache while listening to all the talking during lunch.
Getting out of the car he again his a little button on the keys to safely set the cat alarm, that done he walked toward the school building his expression blank of anything but indifference. Another new school year, new students came in old ones left, not like what all these people did affected him in anyway. They were all going to die, every single one of them, all but him and his family, as well as anyone else like them. He didn’t bother getting his new class charts; he already knew them since his list was given through mail, his father being important to the school and all. His home room was in the first building room thirty, it was last year as well, and even if it wasn’t Sila’s knew this school like it was his own body, it never changed and it never would.
His bitter thoughts had started to put him in a bad mood, so when he saw the silver haired boy before him walking into the class room, he simply pushed pass careful not to hit the other to hard as he could literally send him flying. Safely pass the other he moved to his chosen sea of the other years, back corner next to the window. It was never sunny so it was safe to sit there, and it gave him something to do while everyone else learned, he knew it all already, since he had taken high school so many times he long forgot count. With a silent grace he set his side bag on the ground beside his desk before taking his seat and leaning back to look out the window, red eyes watching the few thing up and about start here day.

| Jaden entered the first building and searched around for a moment. It didn't seem like it was going to be too hard to find his class. There were only five doors in the place. He looked at the first two: Twenty-five and twenty-six. Then thirty would be at the end of the hall. He hurried down to the last room and looked up at the number, just to make sure. Between the time that he was looking up at the room number and when he reached out to open the door, he was pushed aside by a tall boy with really long hair. He hit the doorway and stumbled slightly. "Hey!" Jaden said, rubbing his shoulder as the boy continued walking, without a backwards glance, to a seat by the window. Jaden sighed, shaking his head.
Walking up to the front of the room where the teacher was, shuffling around before class, Jaden smiled, saying, "Hey. I'm the new student. Could I get you to sign this?" The teacher nodded without looking at him and quickly grabbed a pen, signing the paper. "So where should I sit?" he asked the teacher. The teacher looked up for a moment, pausing to look over the boy's tattoo before saying, "Take a look at the seating chart." He pointed to a paper hanging on the side of each desk, including his own. Jaden looked down at the paper and held it up slightly. After figuring which was was which, he found out that his seat was in the back of the room next to Silas, as it said. He noticed no other free seats so he wouldn't be able to switch.
Jaden frowned. He nodded to the teacher before walking to the back of the room and pulled out the seat, purposely bumping it into Silas'. "Oh, sorry," he said with a taste of sarcasm. He pulled the seat slightly away from Silas before he removed his bag from his shoulder and sat down, tossing the bag under the table. He leaned back in the chair then, crossing his arms over his chest and tapping his elbow with an irritated finger. |

| ( So sorry, I fell asleep! )
Boring, everything was so dull around here, sometimes he wondered if he should just go back to Rome, there vampires were so many still, even having places just for their kind that no human could set foot in unless they were food. He sighed and pulled out a leather bound book, but when he opened it only a few pages were filled with words and the writing itself looked like art, swirls and smooth arches. No one wrote like this anymore, but despite his brother wishes he still did, not caring if humans thought it odd or not. Taking out a ball point pen he started to lazily write in the book, starting where he left in his story. Really it was his past, but people tended to like reading about it thinking it was instead a finely spun fiction.
That was the joy of writing books; you could make worlds or just twist the one you’re in to fit your needs. In the midst of writing he was suddenly hit, if he had been human his hand would have surly slid across the old looking paper in the bound book, but even as it didn’t his agitation rose and red eyes turned to the boy who clearly showed sarcasm. Forgetting himself he growled, the sound rumbling from deep within his chest. “If you had ruined this book you would not be in this school for very long, watch yourself new boy.” His voice though low and threatening but it was still smooth and had an almost music like quality to it, years of life gave him grace of everything from his voice to every inch of movement his body made.
Those same red eye widened a bit in realization to the noise he had just made, but instead of doing anything else he turned back to his book in favor of become even more angry and doing something he would regret later. His anger problem was just one of the many things his brother and sister tried to coach him on, his father thought it was cute, but then his father also though the humans who screamed in pain or fear when being bitten were cute. Most vampires were never blood related when they were alive, but his father truly had been his father, and he was his cursed sire. He sighed when the small tapping sound continued on, looking to the human boy he frowned and set his pen down, turning his whole body to face the other male.
“Can you not find something to do in your time, why not study while you have the chance?” He put on a false sweet smile, really he could care less if the boy failed ever class in the world, he just wanted him to stop making the same noise over again, not that a normal human would have been bothered by the silent noise, but his ears could hear it a lot better. He sighed to himself and moved back to face his own desk, resting his head on the cool surface feeling no difference in it then his normal body temperature. Something other than the human was making him angry, but he couldn’t figure it out, all he knew was his anger was filling up far faster then it should.

| [[S'okay. ^^]]
Jaden was surprised to see that the pen that Silas held hadn't skidded across the page that he was writing on. He was a little disappointed that the long-haired male hadn't lost control of his hand. Maybe he'd been expecting it, he thought, dismissing the oddity as he went about his tapping. Suddenly, though, Jaden was startled by the deep growling noise resonating from Silas' throat. His gaze turned back to him and stared for a moment as he was threatened. He froze. Oddly enough, he wasn't frightened by the threat, delivered in a pleasantly angry way, but more of the look in the red eyes that pierced his own. Jaden cringed back and turned his head back to the table before answering, not being able to look into those crimson eyes, "Nice threat. I doubt you'd back it up, though." A good portion of high schoolers didn't, although there were a few cases.
Awkwardly now, he continued his repetitive tapping upon his elbow. He couldn't stand sitting still next to Silas, who'd just threatened him, giving him more of a reason to dislike him. He'd known a lot of people that hated him back in Austin. Although the city had been a great place to grow up, but, since he was rather anti-social, he made more enemies than friends. So aside from the warm weather and sunshine, there wasn't much to miss, but Jaden wasn't just about to admit that the small town would be better for him. He'd go crazy within a few days, he was sure.
He was taken by surprise again when Silas turned himself towards him. He was confused by the sweet voice and smile. He was sure it was fake. No one could go straight from fighting with an enemy to smiling at them. "Why? Is the fact that I'm doing nothing bothering you?" he asked, unfolding his arms as he turned himself towards Silas and placed his elbow on the back of his own chair. "Besides, I don't need to study much."
Jaden was confused when Silas suddenly turned back away and rested his head on the table. He tilted forward to look at the boy. "Are you okay?" he asked. "You don't look so good." He'd seen the dark circles under the taller boy's eyes. Maybe he hadn't slept well, which was probably why he was so irritable. He reached out and touched Silas' shoulder. |

| ( So sorry, I lost the site link! I looked for it and only remembered I put it on my Gaia www page! I am really sorry, it won't happen again because I wrote the link down bookmarked it, and faved it! )
Silas simply smiled, wishing with his growl that he could have bared his fangs as well. He was slightly surprised that it wasn’t when he growled the other boy jumped, but when he looked at him. “Oh don’t worry, I can easily back that up and more.” He flashed a honey sweet smile, tilting his head just so. He had seen his brother do it; he always thought it was pretty but scary. I he had to know if he could pull of the same thing, his sister just called him cute and his father started crying saying something like, ‘oh but they grow up so fast’. He was sure he could scare anyone out of town, so school wouldn’t be so hard. He could always just eat him.
The thought made him feel even worse, he sighed as the male questioned if the fact he wasn’t doing something bothered him. No, but you tapping like that is driving nails through my head right now. So he wanted to say, but instead he kept his head down as he tried to search for the reason he felt off. Silas was so deep in thought that when he was touched he stood up pushing his desk and chair away from him and his pen clattered to the floor and rolled until it bumped against the wall. “Don’t just touch people like that!” He glared at the other male, red eyes darkening as he fought his sudden panic, instead he let it filter out in anger. He was hungry; he had not eaten something small this morning instead he had rushed out so he could ignore his brother.
He wasn’t as strong with not simply taking food when it was in front of him, and this boy seemed like very good food. The teacher at the front coughed suddenly and shoot a glare at both boys. “Is there a problem here, Silas should I call your father again.” Those same red eyes turned from the boy to the teacher who cringed back but quickly straightened up again, once more clearing his throat. “No sir, I am just having some trouble today, I forgot to take my shot this morning is all, and I will call my brother and have him bring it.” He smiled sweetly and very kindly at the man before a nod from the now silent teacher had him walking away from the boy to put his desk between them before he simply walked to the front of the class and out the door, cell phone in hand with quick nimble fingers already dialing numbers.
“Hey, yes now shut up it’s your fault I forgot, no I haven’t done anything stupid... I know it was my fault last time just hurry up and get here!” He quickly closed the cell phone, and looking down at it to make sure he hadn’t broke it, he went and made his way to the schools parking lot to wait, his brother would not be long. Not for something that could hurt there family.
( Hey. You forgot to eat this morning. Yes now shut up it's your fault I forgot! Have you done something stupid again? No I haven't done anything stupid. (yet) It's your fault we had to move last time, you killed that girl in front of everyone in that club! I know it was my fault last time just hurry up and get here! )

| [Oh my god, I’m sorry! I didn’t check back here after I posted, and I forgot after awhile, so I hadn’t realized you’d replied. I’m so so so so so so so so sorry!!!!! >_<]
Jaden jumped, startled by the sudden outbreak from Silas. He cringed back in his seat as he looked into the red and black eyes. He stared for a moment, looking up into the dark circles, mesmerized into a lulled trance. His eyelids dropped half a centimeter as he watched Silas’ expressions. His focus was cut only when he heard the voice of the teacher calling to them. His head snapped towards the front of the room quickly, his eyes open fully again. He opened his mouth to speak, but Silas answered quickly enough. Jaden’s half open mouth closed slowly as he looked back to Silas just as he moved to leave the room.
In a confused daze, Jaden turned to the table and sat his hands down on the cold surface. He shivered and retracted his shaking hands. He’d only touched Silas for a moment, but he’d still felt the ice cold temperature of the boy’s clothing on his finger tips. There was no way that the clothing could be that cold. What kind of illness does he have? he thought, rubbing his hands together. Suddenly, he also recalled how he’d gone into a hypnotic state. This was what confused him. He hadn’t been able to look away from Silas’ face until the teacher had spoken aloud. Obviously something about the boy had caught his attention, or maybe there was something odd about him.
Shaking his head, Jaden looked back at the door. Where’d he go? he thought curiously. Something about a shot… It seems really odd… Not being able to resist his curiosity, Jaden got up, leaving his belongings by the table and headed out the door. He paused just by the door, managing to hear the very end of the conversation. So someone’s bringing it for him… he thought, walking forward quietly as Silas exited the building. He peeked out the doorway, just to make sure he hadn’t caught onto him. He was surprised to see him already in the parking lot. He looked from side to side. There were a lot of cars parked, but no one was outside now. Jaden walked out into the cold and sat down behind a bush. He rubbed his hands across the tattoo on his face before he peeked over the bush to watch for whatever was going to happen. |

| ( It's ok, so glad you came back though. I thought I did something wrong. ;.; Sorry a lame post, just a bit stressed over school. )
Silas sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose, he had been so close to biting that boy. He growled to himself his fangs extending as the thought of a beating heart slowly fluttering before dying at his teeth. It felt so nice, better than any drugs the humans could ever come up with, even a few vampires did but those were kept away from the human race. He was pacing and thinking trying to get the sound of the heart beat out of his ears but it wasn’t doing him any good, not really. A small sound caught his attention and glowing red eyes turned toward the bushes, but before he could walk over to them his brother was jogging up to him waving a bottle around smiling like he had won a prize. His brother had short cut black hair, he spiked it and dyed the ends odd colors and today seemed to be yellow.
“What took you so long, you are lucky I didn’t bite the head off of someone who passed by!” Silas glared as his brother just laughed and tossed the bottle to him underhanded. Faster than a snakes strike he grabbed it out of the air and had it at his lips. “Silas, next time be more careful, wouldn’t want the baby of the family to die would we.” Silas glared at him and growled baring red fangs briefly. “Oh no you wouldn’t want that Jared not at all.” He tossed the bottle back to his brother already his face was a better color. “Did you run over here, did anyone see you?” This got a snort from his brother who glared at him. “Unlike you baby bro, I don’t get caught.” That done he saluted and jogged away, but Silas knew he would run at full speed once he was sure no one was around.
“Stupid jerk, your fault to start with.” Silas sighed tiredly but a swift silken tongue darted from his lips to lick them making sure none of his so called ‘medicine’ was left. He turned back to the school but for a minute he looked toward the bush, his eyes narrowing and his gaze cold. He then decided nothing was there and turned and walked back into the school to head for the class room. It didn’t take him long before he had picked up his pen and once more had started to write his words curvy and sleek just as much as his look. After all he had life times to fix both didn’t he? He half wondered where the boy had gone off to, but after awhile of thinking he just couldn’t be bothered.

| [No, no! Not at all! I was really looking forward to this roleplay, so there was no way! ^w^]
Jaden almost had a heart attack when Silas turned his head towards the bush. He ducked down quickly, hoping that he hadn’t been caught. After a moment or two, figuring that he hadn’t been found out, he turned and peeked over the bush again, watching the scene unfold. A boy with oddly colored spiked hair jogged up to him, waving a bottle. It was hardly a shot. Curiously, he leaned a little farther forward to try to hear what they were saying.
Bite someone’s head off? he thought. Most likely a figure of speech, he guessed. Jaden watched with surprise as the boy tossed the bottle to Silas and Silas caught it with lightening speed. He had to blink again to make sure he’d seen things correctly. Then, after Silas drank from the bottle, Jaden swore he saw something that wasn’t possible: fang, covering in a red liquid, protruding from Silas’ mouth. Jaden gasped lightly and ducked back into the bushes. He grasped at his chest, purely frightened by the small glimpse of what he’d seen. His mind raced. What was that? Fangs? Is this a joke? No, I doubt it… Otherwise he wouldn’t have lied about the shot. So then what is he? His mind pondered for a few moments before a word suddenly jumped into his mind: Vampire.
Jaden pulled his legs up to his chest as his breathing suddenly came in small gasps. When it sounded like the other boy was gone, Jaden hushed himself and listened. After a few moments, he heard the door to the school building close. He sighed, relieved that he’d not been found. He stood then, brushing the leaves and dirt off himself. He wasn’t sure if he’d gotten all the leaves out of his hair, but he wasn’t worried about that. He thought about his vampire idea again and came to the conclusion that it was absurd. There was no such thing.
Jaden walked back into the building as well then and then into the classroom. He slipped into his seat next to Silas, trying to be as silent as possible. Although he’d figured that his idea was stupid, he felt nervous all the same. There did seem to be something other-worldly about Silas. He reached down and grabbed his bag, placing it on his lap. It only took him a few moments to find a pencil or two to arm himself with. He placed one on the table and twirled the other in his hand as he put his bag back on the ground. |

| ( Now it is my turn to beg you're forgiveness. I was so caught up with things happening on Gaia that I made the mistake of forgetting to check in here.)
Cool red eyes hardly moved from the page that his hand glided against, effortlessly making a spiral of writing. However when the other male coming back he looked up his eyes turning to watch as he picked up first his bag, then took pencils out before once more the bag was dropped to the ground. He watched will dull interest as the other twirled to object around, he seemed like he was about to run from the slightest sound. He was bored, and feeling a bit giddy thanks to his snack, he wanted fun. He made himself sigh loudly before he stood up and left his pen on his desk as well as his writing. The other smelled like the outside, and he seemed scared. He wondered if perhaps what he had heard was him in the bushes, but then he wouldn’t have heard anything to pin something on him. Now, he wondered if perhaps he could make the boy follow along again, like a good little sheep.
“Sir, I need to call home again I think I need more than one shot this morning.” He frowned and to himself and looked nervously at the teacher as if he were scared. After he got a grunt of permission he slipped from the class room again. If the other didn’t follow then he wouldn’t, but if he did then he could have some fun. He walked to the end of the hall before he opened his cell phone, not bothering to really call he simply spoke into it. “Yea one wasn’t enough, get over here ok?” The done he snapped the phone shut and continued to walk to where he waited before for his brother. He wouldn’t hurt him of course, but a bit of fun wouldn’t do anything to scar the kid, ok maybe he would. He smiled to himself unaware as always that when he got a little to evil happy his fangs showed.
Silas took his time to breath slowly and carefully, his power was a bit hard to pull off and a little unique. After all it wasn’t every vampire that could change into an animal, it was hard to change forms when you had to die after doing it, it kind of hurt! It took him a bit but he finally felt his body change, and it hurt like hell! His heart beat started his blood moved, and he had to breathe, but in the end there stood a white stag with slight spiked antlers. However before he took a single step his legs buckled and his eyes rolled up, the pain of death started and he simply fell to the ground dead. He was still alive, ok of sorts; he would get up later but now he had no heart beat and the small warmth of his body was slowly leaving him.
Normally he would do this with a fox, but some how he felt a deer would be better affect. He just hoped the kid hadn't seen him change, but he doubted he would follow so quickly. Now to wait to see if he followed or not. Carefully he closed his eyes and stopped breathing, not like he needed to anyways.

| [S'okay. Don't worry. ;D ]
Jaden was quiet, just barely stirring as he sat tensely on the seat. He stopped twirling the pencil and put it on his lap as he watched the teacher begin class. Everyone was in the room and every seat was filled. He clicked his tongue once and started to write down some notes in his notebook. It didn't take long for him to write down the gist of the concept. He'd already studied some of it in cram classes back in Austin. Putting down his pencil then, he continued to listen to the teacher drone on, consciously aware of the person sitting next to him.
Suddenly, when Silas spoke, Jaden jumped and turned his head to the boy as if a ghost just suddenly spilled from the long-haired boy's mouth. He sighed a little when Silas got up and left the room, but he was suddenly curious again. Did he really need that much? He'd seen the size of the bottle, but he wasn't sure. They did teach classes on the modern vampire. On a whim, Jaden rose his hand and said, "Sir. Bathroom." He got a small hint of angry before a nod and a series of inaudiable words. Jaden nodded anyway and left the room.
He peeked out into the hallway, just in time to see the door close and hear the last few mumbles of speech. Hesitantly, Jaden walked out into the hallway again, and walked across to the door, opening it and slipping out silently before closing the door behind himself. He sighed, pausing a moment at the door to look around. He didn't see anyone. Everyone was in class by now, so it was safe to walk around. He made a bee line to the bushes from before and ducked behind them. He waiting, straining his ears to try to hear some noise, but all he heard was the flappin and cawing of birds in the trees. He sighed again and looked over the top of the bushes, seeing that no one was there, but there was a new creature lying on the ground, presumably dead.
Jaden gasped and stood up, jogging over to the white form on the ground. He hovered over it for a second, identifying it as a stag, before he bent down and reached out towards the chest area, where he'd be able to feel the heart beat. He froze, feeling one last pump from the heart, desperate to pump the life into the body, but it was dead. Jaden just about had a heart attack himself at that moment. He looked around, trying to figure out what'd happened to it. All he knew was that Silas was supposed to be here. He stopped, remembering the fangs he'd seen. Silas had obviously killed the creature. There was no other explanation. Jaden looked at the poor creature with empathy and reached out to touch the short hair. He quickly mutter a prayer for the beast before beginning to search for something as evidence. Most likely form of evidence: two marks around the neck area. He felt around the neck line, trying to see if he could feel to puncture marks anywhere. |

| Silas felt a sudden jolt as the boy touched him; he forced himself to hold still and not quickly change back. He almost bolted when he heard a prayer, perhaps his joke had gone a little too far then. The touch at his neck finally did it, his muscles jumped and he opened his eyes swirling them to look at the boy before he snored and struggled as if he were a deer to get up. He shook his head angrily and his legs kicked at the air before he shifted so that he stood shaking his eyes rolling every now and then. He would never pick to be a creature unless he knew them well enough of how they acted. He stared at the boy for a minute not moving but for his ears that turned back then forward again. His body twitched a shook but finally he snorted and pawed the ground thrashing his head and antlers around.
He liked animals, and he watched them for so many years that if he wanted he could stay as one, but so far he chose not to. Slowly he eyes the boy, wondering what the human would do. He still hadn’t gotten his name not that it mattered much while he was like this but. Stepping forward he lowered his head and stretched his neck, smell the air around him for danger before walking still closer. His heart wouldn’t beat any more in this form until he changed out and back in, but he would stay slightly warm from the blood before but it would cool soon leaving him cold again. He was finally able to get a good look at the boy and wondered why the tattoos were all over his body, not that the design wasn’t pretty.
His pink eyes shifted and his head lifted ears flying back as if he heard a noise when really he was just acting still, slowly he made the deer’s body shake and stamped the ground. He was only a single step from the boy and so slowly he lowered his head and bumped his chest with his nose. Perhaps he should have picked a cat; those were easier to be since they were quiet vocal creatures when they wanted to be. The other males hair was pretty, it was platinum blond but a slight dirty version of it, like sand got mixed in it, but it was pretty and Silas wondered just what would the other be like in five hundred years, a little voice in his mind laughed and said dead making Silas frown mentally.

| Jaden felt along the skin before he suddenly felt a jolt from the supposedly dead body, and then the eyes opened. His own eyes turned just a little to look at the stag's face. He was startled when the creature started moving and trying to get up. Jaden crawled backwards on the ground a little and watched as it stood. He watched silently as he was stared down, but then cowered in fear as the stag shook its head and pawed at the dirt. Surely he was going to be attacked. He closed his eyes for a moment, not wanting to look when his body was rammed into.
When nothing happened, Jaden slowly peeked open his eyes, to see that the creature was just looking at him. He gave a half-sigh and then watched as it came a step closer and smelled the air, obviously checking if he smelled dangerous. He shifted slightly, as if wanting to back away, but then he stayed put, watching the stag's ears tilt back. Jaden held his breath then, not wanting to get hurt from making a stupid mistake such as breathing too hard.
Jaden shook when the creature put it's nose against his chest. He could feel the soft skin touching up to his chest, and he didn't know what to do. He picked his hand up and put it near the stag's nose, just in case he wanted to sniff that as well. He leaned back then, feeling somewhat uncomfortable about having a wild animal touching him and not being scared stiff. He was sure that would blow over any time soon. |
