Hello friends. First off I would like to start out saying this. I am in The U.S Army. I am a 35 Foxtrot, which means I am an Intelligence Annalist.
Im in the DEP program so I have little under a year until i ship out.


Any how I would like to clear a few things up that people think of the U.S Army.

1. The Armed forces do not kill unless we have to. (we don't kill civilians nor destroy anything that we don't have to)
2. The U.S congress makes most of the calls. Do not blame the men and woman who wear the fatigues for things that happen, Ideas, or any other such thing
3. Yes war sucks. But some one has to do it. The U.S Gov does stick its nose in to a lot of things. BUT if they didn't other worse things would happen. (The pure number of people dieing over seas is very small compared to WWII, Vietnam, or even the Civil war.
4. It is not just about oil.
5. The main reason we are still over seas is to rebuild what was destroyed.
6. DO NOT believe the media. It only focuses on the bad. There is so much good that out weighs all they show. Yet they still try to break down the Military. Though it is the U.S Gov or another force that had done the wrong.
7. SUPPORT OUR TROOPS. Plain and simple friends. Soldiers go threw hell for our freedoms. Show some love and if not that respect. We are people just like you. We just took up the call to arms.

How do you not expect seeing people not come back messed up. War is hell it messes with ones head and traumatizes them. I had afriend who was quite docile and calm. Then he went to the USMC After two tours over seas he came back. he said he was tough now. I said nahh , just as a joke. He then proceeded to pull a combat knife out. put his hand on a wooden table, then stabbed it right threw his hand and table without a flench.

It is not their fault. And where would they go

I that my friend you are wrong. If I put you in one fire fight and let you see what it is the pain the misery the loss you would end up wounded mentally too. It is a fact of war since the stone age my friend. You can not simply remove some one from their home to to hurt and agony. Also society in the U.S is not inflected by them. Thugs(wannabe gangsters and fucking morons. as with fucking people who think they can do whatever (all races though there is one or two that have more of these types of people) Are what mess with society.. Not the people who came back from protecting the rights of the free all over the world.

Yes that far. but not near 10 percent get that fucked up.

That cant be done. They are some times put in phyc programs now.. Army is actually starting to take care of the problem
